Yesterday, 5 February 2020, Lucara Diamonds announced (link) their most recent discovery. A 549 carat gem quality white diamond. The Canadian company found this from the same ore as another recent discovery. A 179 carat (also gem quality) white diamond. Both of which were discovered in the Karowe mine in Botswana. LVMH buys 1,758 carat diamond from Lucara
