Every Monday The Carat Soup shines a spotlight on hidden gems: extraordinary women in our industry. This week my focus is on Clara Al Sidawi of @BaillyGallery

An art gallery in Geneva and Paris specialising in modern, post-war and contemporary art.

Al Sidawi followed a traditional path to the art world, after studying History of Art and working in art galleries, until Clara made her way to Bailly Gallery.

“[…] an international gallery focusing on masters of impressionist & modern art. Among exhibited artists are Auguste Rodin, Auguste Renoir, Henri Matisse, Alfred Sisley, Pablo Picasso, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Alexander Calder, Marc Chagall, Kees Van Dongen, Francis Picabia, Sam Francis and many other representatives of major 19th and 20th century artistic movements. The gallery is also committed to the discovery of emerging talent and to its integration into the contemporary art scene. Beyond the exhibition program, the gallery covers a broad spectrum of artistic projects, including the publication of catalogues and the participation at major international art fairs such as TEFAF Maastricht, BRAFA, Masterpiece London or the Biennale in Paris.”

Gallery Bailly is based at 10 rue de l’hôtel de ville
