Investor Special: Zambian Emeralds

IMG_3492It is the middle of May, and what better way to celebrate this month – along with those born in May – than with beautiful Zambian emeralds.

With the ever changing investor market: from diversified property portfolios, stocks, bonds, and appreciating assets, emeralds are worth adding to the list, as they have reasonable returns. From Sultans, Maharajahs, and even those working in Finance, gemstones have long been the go-to as ‘alternate’ assets.

Rough stones are mined and kept in their rough state, or cut/facetted and stored as loose stones, or cut/facetted and set into jewellery. Whichever path selected, collectors and jewellery lovers alike, find it easier to invest and track gemstones, than the sometimes tumultuous market of other assets.
